Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of mahadmajid.com and any services provided by Mahad Majid ("I," "me," or "my"), including WordPress development, custom plugin development, SEO, Google Ads management, and social media advertising. By engaging my services or using this website, you agree to these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By submitting an inquiry, signing a proposal, or making a payment for services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. Services
Services offered include, but are not limited to: WordPress website development, custom plugin development, Figma-to-WordPress conversion, SEO services, Google Ads management, and social media advertising. The specific scope of work for any project will be defined in a written proposal or agreement prior to commencement.
3. Quotes, Payment & Deposits
- All quotes are estimates based on the scope discussed at the time of the proposal and may change if project requirements change.
- A deposit may be required before work begins, with the remaining balance due upon agreed milestones or project completion.
- Payment terms, methods, and currency will be confirmed in writing for each project.
- Late payments may result in a pause of ongoing work until outstanding balances are settled.
4. Project Timelines
Estimated timelines are provided in good faith based on typical project scope. Timelines may be affected by delays in receiving content, feedback, approvals, or access credentials from the client, and are not guaranteed where such delays occur.
5. Client Responsibilities
To keep a project on schedule, the client agrees to:
- Provide necessary content, assets, and access (e.g., hosting, domain) in a timely manner
- Provide timely feedback and approvals during the review process
- Ensure any third-party accounts (hosting, ad platforms, APIs) used in the project are in good standing
6. Revisions & Scope Changes
Each project includes a reasonable number of revision rounds as agreed in the proposal. Requests that fall outside the original agreed scope ("scope creep") may be quoted separately and require written agreement before work begins.
7. Intellectual Property & Ownership
- Upon full payment, ownership of custom code, designs, and deliverables created specifically for the client's project transfers to the client, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- I retain the right to showcase completed work in my portfolio, case studies, and marketing materials unless the client requests confidentiality in writing.
- Pre-existing tools, frameworks, or reusable code snippets developed prior to or independently of the project remain my property.
8. Third-Party Services & Plugins
Projects may rely on third-party services, themes, or plugins (e.g., Elementor Pro, WooCommerce, hosting providers, ad platforms). I am not responsible for the availability, pricing changes, or policy changes of third-party services, though I will make reasonable efforts to recommend reliable options.
9. Warranty & Support
A limited support window (as specified per project) is provided after launch to address bugs directly related to the delivered work. This does not cover issues arising from third-party plugin updates, hosting changes, or modifications made by the client or other developers after handoff. Ongoing maintenance is available separately as a retainer.
10. Limitation of Liability
Services are provided on an "as is" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, I am not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of delivered work, including but not limited to loss of revenue, data, or business opportunities. My total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount paid for the specific service in question.
11. Termination
Either party may terminate a project agreement with written notice. In the event of termination, the client is responsible for payment for all work completed up to the termination date.
12. Use of This Website
Content on this website, including text, design, and case study details, is provided for informational purposes. You may not copy, reproduce, or republish content from this site without permission.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, without regard to conflict of law principles, unless otherwise agreed in a signed project agreement.
14. Changes to These Terms
These Terms may be updated periodically. Continued use of this website or ongoing engagement of services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
